Sole Power wins the Al Quoz Sprint on Dubai World Cup Night

Sole Power (11-2) won the Al Quoz Sprint at the Dubai World Cup meeting in Meydan (28th March 2015) with a customary late surge in the five-furlong Group One.
In winning this race, Sole Power, who is trained in Dunshaughlin by TRM Supporter Eddie Lynam and owned by Sabena and David Power recorded his fifth Group 1 win.
Ridden by Richard Hughes, This was the last time Hughes, a multiple champion jockey in England, will ride on Dubai World Cup night. He recently announced he is to retire from the saddle at the end of the season to embark on a training career.
Now 8 years of age, connections hope to aim Sole Power at Ascot this summer.
