I used Good As Gold Paste on a young horse who was a little stressed travelling and used to paw. When I travelled him to Holland recently, I tried him on ½ a syringe the night before and ½ a syringe the morning of the travel. He ever pawed the duration of the trip, and ate and drank well. I used it on the return journey also to great success.

I tried the paste on three different horses with excellent results.  Having tried Perfect Prep, Omega Alpha's Equine Chill, a powder called Relaxme and numerous other calming supplements, we can definitely say that no other showed the calming effects of the Good as Gold paste.

Product Information

Good as Gold & MAG is a complementary feedingstuff for horses containing supplementary levels of Magnesium and Tryptophan, which have an important role in the maintenance of normal nerve function. It is suitable for addition to the feed of nervous, hot or highly strung horses.

 

Instructions for Proper Use:

Good as Gold & MAG should be added to the normal feed ration.

Pre-Competiton: 50g per day, 3 to 4 days prior to competition.

Stressful Situations: 50g per day.

Maintenance: 25g per day.

1 scoop = 25g.
