| Matthew Wright and Fernhill Express score top honours in the CCI** class at the Johnson & Perrott Land Rover International Horse Trials |
 TRM sponsored event rider Matthew Wright made a very worthwhile trip across the Irish Sea last weekend to the Johnson & Perrott Land Rover International Horse Trials at Ballindenisk, Co. Cork. Fernhill Express scored top honours in the CCI** class, winning by a huge margin of 6 penalties. Pictured: Matthew Wright and Fernhill Express - winners of the CCI** class (Photo: Equus Pix) Having stormed around the cross country within the time allowed with Fernhill Express, another clear round in the final show jumping phase ensured a trip to the winners enclosure for Matthew, after 2 phase leader Jo Andrews picked up 10 showjumping penalties to drop down to second place. In the feature CCI***, Wright steered Dark Crusader into second place behind eventual winners Declan Cullen and Glenhill Gold. There were further accolades for Matthew in the CCI*. A dressage score completion earned him another podium finish for the weekend when taking 3rd place with Tabatha Bay. His fourth mount Noisette des Pres also performed well in the CIC***, finishing the three phases in 9th position.
